Michael Bruton has extensive work experience in the field of operations and project management. Michael began their career at Jacobs in 2006, where they held roles such as Alliance Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Construction Manager. In 2017, they transitioned to the role of Program Manager, overseeing various projects until their departure in 2022. Following their time at Jacobs, they joined DPS Group Global as the Director of Operations. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Operations - Semiconductor at Arcadis.

Michael Bruton has a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Structural) from University College Dublin, which they completed from 1991 to 1995. In 2019 to 2021, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Technological University Dublin. Michael also completed various certifications, including Managing Safely for Construction Managers from IOSH - Institute of Occupational Safety and Health in 2018 and Risk Management Professional (RMP) from Project Management Institute in the same year. In 2012, they acquired the certification of Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. Additionally, they have completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management from Trinity College Dublin in 2003, a Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Law and Contract Administration from Trinity College Dublin in 2005 to 2006, and an ISO 9001 (2015) Internal Auditor certification from Kelmac in 2022. Michael is also currently pursuing an ISO 45001 Internal Auditor certification from Kelmac, expected to complete in 2023. Michael Bruton holds additional certifications such as Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn and various professional designations from Engineers Ireland, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI).
