Michael Petzold

Michael Petzold has held several management and leadership positions throughout their career. Michael is currently the Managing Director/CEO at DPS Software GmbH, a role they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Sales Germany at the same company from May 2021 to January 2022.

Before joining DPS Software GmbH, Petzold was the Head of Operations and a Member of the Management Board at PDTec AG from February 2019 to May 2020.

From July 2017 to January 2019, Petzold worked at TechniaTranscat, where they held the position of Director Operations, Member of the Management Board, and Authorized Signatory. Prior to that, they served as the Deputy COO from March 2016 to June 2017 and as the Head of Operation from March 2007 to February 2016.

Petzold's professional experience also includes working at Transcat PLM GmbH. From January 2002 to February 2007, they were the Deputy Department Leader "Key Accounts," responsible for managing and controlling important key accounts for automotive customers. Michael also handled sales partner management, acquisition of new projects, and project management for migration of mission-critical installations. Prior to this, they served as a Key Account Manager from June 1999 to December 2001 and as a CAD/CAM Consultant from July 1998 to May 1999.

Michael Petzold attended Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Dipl. Ing. (FH) degree in Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering).
