Lorenz Risch

Lorenz Risch is a physician and clinical biochemist who holds a Titularprofessur at Universität Bern since 2015 and Venia legendi for Klinische Biochemie, and serves as Chief Medical Officer at Sonic Suisse since 2024. They are President of the Foundation Board at Private Universität im Fürstentum Liechtenstein since 2023 and Chairman of the Board at Dr Risch since 2019. Their career included a residency in Laboratory Medicine at several hospitals from 1996 to 2001, a residency in Internal Medicine (2005–2006), and leadership as CEO and Head of labormedizinisches zentrum Dr Risch from 2005 to 2018. Their education includes Eidgenössisches Staatsexamen Arzt, Humanmedizin (1989–1996), Doctor of Medicine (MD) (1996–1998), Master of Public Health from Harvard T.H.
