P. Scott DeVos has a diverse work experience in software engineering and technology roles. From 2022, they are working as a Senior Software Engineer at Draft2Digital.
Previously, from 2021 to 2022, they served as the Director of Software Development Global IS at Sitel Group.
Before that, from 2015 to 2022, they held the position of Software Architect Global IS at Sykes, where they led the design and development of a next-generation platform for automated hiring and onboarding. P. Scott was also the technical lead for a team working on user-facing and enterprise-facing software in Python frameworks such as Django and Celery, along with developing two frameworks called HUBRIS and PorpoiseFlow.
From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at Talent Sprout by SYKES, where they led and participated in the development of software in Python frameworks Django and Celery, as well as the Java routing framework, Camel.
Prior to that, from 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Safety Researcher at Fume Hood Research, Inc., focusing on improving researcher health and safety through better fume hood testing and research.
Their career started in 2000 as the Founder/Owner/Developer/Network Engineer at Countryside Technology, a role they held until 2012.
P. Scott DeVos pursued their undergraduate studies at Calvin University from 1985 to 1989. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Physics. After completing their undergraduate studies, DeVos decided to further their education. From 1990 to 1992, they enrolled in the University of Colorado Boulder, where they pursued a Master of Science degree specializing in Atomic Theory within the field of Physics.
