Ellen Kim is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in leading software development initiatives at prominent companies. As a Lead Software Engineer at DraftKings Inc. from October 2016 to January 2022, Ellen designed and implemented a multijurisdictional system for the Sportsbook platform, created message-based asynchronous updates for API resiliency, conducted load testing, and launched the Women in Tech initiative while also leading the Summer Intern Program. Following this, Ellen served as a Senior Software Engineer at Twitter from January 2022 to January 2023, where responsibilities included designing a backend system to manage user content preferences at scale and leading various committees to enhance team processes. Currently, Ellen is the Software Engineer Technical Lead at Level, continuing to drive technical excellence and innovation.
