Lauren Barta

Lauren Barta is currently a junior at the University of Notre Dame, majoring in Applied Computational and Mathematical Statistics, where they have been named to the Dean's List. Previously, Lauren spent two years as a Chemical Engineering major before transitioning to focus on computational problem solving and leveraging interpersonal skills. They have held the position of Lead Data Analyst at DraftKings Inc. and have also worked as a Social Media/Operations Manager at Heart Core Studio, where they revitalized the studio's social media presence. Lauren has experience coaching lacrosse and tutoring student-athletes, showcasing leadership and teamwork abilities. They are actively seeking an internship in the biotechnology or life science industries for the upcoming summer.
