Rick LaFaver

Rick LaFaver is a results-driven Director of Financial Operations with over 10 years of experience managing financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts for public and private cloud environments. Currently, they serve as the Director of Cloud FinOps at DraftKings Inc. and previously held the role of Director of Operational Excellence at LSEG, where they led operational functions and managed vendor relationships for a £650M business. They have also worked as a FinOps Manager at Refinitiv, where they saved $26M through cost accountability initiatives, and have extensive experience in incident management and systems analysis from their earlier positions at CitiGroup and Thomson Reuters. Rick is pursuing degrees in Political Science and Business Management and Economics.
