William McCune is an incoming Software Engineering Intern at DraftKings Inc., starting in October 2025. Previously, William served as Chair of New Member Education at Duke Catalyst, contributing to the tech and entrepreneurship community from February 2024 to March 2025. William gained experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer with the Duke Code+ Program and worked with the Duke Applied Machine Learning Group on a natural language processing project for authorship recognition. Additional roles include Student Software Engineer at Duke University and an intern at Retirement Wealth Advisors LLC, where William acquired knowledge in stock analysis and marketing. William also served as a Student Worker with Berkeley County Schools and interned at DSPTCH, focusing on energy transition solutions. William's education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Duke University, along with studies in European History and Mathematics and Economics from WVU Potomac State College and Shepherd University, respectively.
