Dan Fallon has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Dan started their career as a Tutor at UCAN Volunteer in 2012. Later, they worked as a QC Analytical Technology Intern at Biogen Idec in 2014, where they analyzed drug products and updated standard operating procedures. In 2016, they were a Molecular Discovery Protein Analytics Intern at Bristol-Myers Squibb, analyzing early-stage immunotherapy projects.
Fallon then joined the University of Massachusetts Amherst, initially working as a Laboratory Technician from 2015 to 2017, managing chemical and biological processing for research laboratories. Subsequently, they became a Graduate Student Researcher, studying uncharacterized proteins in Mycobacteria glycolipid biosynthesis pathway.
Currently, Fallon is employed at Dragonfly Therapeutics, Inc. since 2017. Dan has held multiple roles, including Research Associate I and III, Senior Research Associate, Principal Associate Scientist, and Scientist I. In these roles, they contributed to antibody therapeutics research and development, conducting experiments using various techniques such as SPR, analytical SEC, HIC, and cell-based assays. Dan also participated in construct design and bioconjugate screening for antibody-based molecules and antigens.
Dan Fallon's education history starts with their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, which they obtained from the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2012 to 2016. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Applied Molecular Biotechnology from the same university, completing it between 2016 and 2017. Currently, Dan is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from Northeastern University, with no specified end year.
