Laura O'Keeffe

Laura O'Keeffe has over 17 years of work experience in finance and accounting roles. Laura is currently the Head of Finance & Treasurer at Dragonfly, a position they have held since December 2022. In 2023, they will also become a Founding Member of The F Suite.

Previously, Laura worked at The Wing as the Head of Finance from January 2021 to December 2022. In this role, they oversaw the entire finance function of the company, including FP&A, strategic planning, accounting, tax, treasury, and compliance. Laura successfully closed an M&A deal to secure majority acquisition by IWG Plc. Laura also held the position of Controller, Global at The Wing from April 2019 to January 2021, where they led the US and international accounting function and led billing and ERP system transformations.

Before their time at The Wing, Laura was the Director, Controller & FP&A at MealPal from October 2017 to March 2019. Laura built and led the internal accounting function, implemented new ERP software, and supported fundraising and financial planning for the company.

Laura also worked at Viacom from September 2015 to October 2017, first as an FP&A Manager and then as a Senior FP&A Manager, International Finance. In these roles, they oversaw the subscription, advertising, and retail P&Ls of MTV, Comedy Central, and Nickelodeon.

At Gucci, Laura held the roles of Senior Accountant and FP&A from February 2012 to June 2015, and Financial Accountant from March 2010 to February 2012. Laura gained experience in financial planning and analysis, as well as accounting.

Laura began their career at Deloitte as an Audit Senior from October 2005 to April 2009.

Laura O'Keeffe obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) degree from the University of Galway, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. Following that, they attended the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School from 2004 to 2005, earning a Master of Accounting (MAcc) degree. From 2005 to 2007, Laura pursued their Fellowship of Chartered Accountants (FCA) at Chartered Accountants Ireland. There is no specific field of study mentioned for any of the degrees.
