Dayal Dilli is a seasoned performance engineer with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies since 2011. Currently, Dayal serves as a Senior Principal Performance Engineer at Dragos, Inc., contributing to both performance engineering and architecture since November 2021. Previously, Dayal worked at Proofpoint as a Staff Performance Engineer, playing a pivotal role in establishing the email archiving performance engineering group. Prior to that, Dayal held a position as a Staff Software Developer at IBM Canada, where responsibilities included optimizing software and hardware products for the security intelligence portfolio. Dayal's foundation in performance engineering was further solidified through research and development of the Java Virtual Machine at IBM Center for Advanced Studies and as a graduate intern focused on enhancing Apache Zookeeper. Dayal's academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of New Brunswick and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Anna University Chennai.
