Kyle O'Meara

Kyle O'Meara is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in adversary hunting and threat analysis. Currently serving as Director of Adversary Hunting at Dragos, Inc. since November 2020, O'Meara also held various roles there, including Technical Team Lead and Principal Adversary Hunter. Prior to this, O'Meara co-founded Lanesra, providing hands-on cybersecurity training, and served as an adjunct professor at Carnegie Mellon University, teaching graduate-level courses and advising students. O'Meara's background includes positions at the Software Engineering Institute, FireEye, and the U.S. Department of Defense, with a strong emphasis on incident response, malware analysis, and network vulnerability assessment. O'Meara holds a Master’s degree in Information Security Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and has additional degrees in Information Technology and Computer Science.
