Paul D.

Paul D. is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and product development within the cybersecurity sector. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Dragos, Inc. since March 2023, Paul previously held the position of Chief Architect and Sr. Director of Engineering and Data Science at Secureworks from September 2017 to October 2022, where efforts were directed towards transforming the company into a leading security product provider and launching the Taegis XDR and VDR platforms. Past roles include serving as Deputy Chief Technology Officer at the U.S. Department of State, where initiatives focused on countering disinformation and propaganda, and as Principal Engineer at the United States Department of Defense, co-founding a large-scale machine learning system. Paul D. holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Cognitive Science from the University of Virginia.
