Sam Hanson

Sam Hanson is an Associate Principal Vulnerability Analyst at Dragos, Inc., where responsibilities include threat hunting for novel ICS malware and analyzing malware samples to develop detections for the Dragos Platform, alongside publishing intelligence reports. Previously, Sam held roles such as Senior Vulnerability Analyst and Vulnerability Analyst II, focusing on researching industrial software for security vulnerabilities and producing intelligence reports for OT operators. Experience also includes a position as a Software Engineering Intern at Code42, developing a file monitoring application, and serving as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the University of Minnesota, where Sam created online tools for environmental data analysis and conducted machine learning research.
