Located centrally within the heart of Plymouth just two minutes’ walk from the Hoe Promenade which overlooks the historic Plymouth Sound of Sir Francis Drake – one of the largest, natural harbours in the world.

Originally built as the private residence of a high-ranking Naval officer (circa 1820-30s), the communal areas of the building retain many of the original architectural features of this period. Paying homage to its extensive history, the hotel retains many of its original features including the magnificent ornate ceiling in the dining room.
