Alex Lammers

Alex Lammers is a Senior Scientist at Draper, where they are building in vitro systems and advancing automated imaging and analysis at the intersection of biology and engineering. They are also a Visiting Scholar at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, conducting research in Christopher Chen's lab. Previously, Alex has held positions as a Research Assistant II at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where they launched a new lab, and as a Technical Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, successfully managing a consulting project with a major pharmaceutical company. Alex earned a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Boston University and holds a BA in Physics from Pomona College.
