Brian Wong is a skilled professional in audio, speech, and signal processing with a strong background in machine intelligence and algorithm development. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Draper since February 2018, Brian is part of the Machine Intelligence Group. Previously, at Assured Information Security (AIS) from May 2012 to January 2018, Brian excelled as an Audio, Speech, and Signal Processing Researcher, focusing on enhancing speaker and language identification, noise reduction, and speech recognition functionalities for government software. Brian's earlier experience includes a role as a Researcher/Engineer at Research Associates for Defense Conversion, where efforts were directed towards algorithm testing and collaboration with academic and government entities. Initial exposure to the field began with an internship at Manhattanville Development Group, where project management support was provided for environmental safety and construction projects. Brian holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Binghamton University, earned between 2006 and 2011.
