Cary Tippets has an extensive academic and professional background in physics and material science. Cary earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Brigham Young University and subsequently obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Material Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Professional experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from August 2011 to June 2017, followed by various roles at Intel Corporation from June 2017 to April 2021, including Process Development Engineer, Senior Process Development Engineer, and Module Development Engineering Manager. Currently, Cary holds the position of Principal Member of Technical Staff at Draper, starting in May 2025.
