Dan Black

Dan Black is an experienced engineering professional specializing in analog and mixed-signal design. As the Group Leader for the Analog IC Design team at Draper since February 2022, Dan Black oversees the development of high-performance circuits for various sectors, including space and biomedical applications. Prior to this role, Dan Black served as a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Analog Devices and Maxim Integrated, focusing on automotive battery management systems and precision analog design for electric vehicles. Experience also includes positions at St. Jude Medical as a Senior Electrical Engineer, ON Semiconductor as a Senior Design Engineer, and SliceX, Inc. as a Design Engineer. Dan Black holds a BS/MS in Computer/Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah.
