David Coven

David Coven is an accomplished Senior Member of Technical Staff and Task Lead at Draper, with expertise in high-performance inertial navigation systems. Since July 2019, David has been engaged in systems analysis, trade studies, and performance assessments while developing software tools and algorithms for various applications. Prior experience includes contributions to NASA's Valkyrie robot at the RIVeR Laboratory, supporting the Mars 2020 mission at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and roles in mechanical engineering co-ops at Desktop Metal and JPL. David holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, a Professional Certificate in Architecture and Systems Engineering from MIT xPRO, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, complemented by a minor in Mathematics.
