Ian Loefgren is a Robotics Engineer at Draper since July 2020, specializing in motion planning, obstacle avoidance, terrain-relative navigation, distributed target tracking, navigation system design, and vision-based control for UAVs. Prior to this role, Ian worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Cooperative Human-Robot Intelligence Lab (COHRINT) from August 2018 to July 2020 and as a Graduate Student Intern at Draper in the summer of 2018, focusing on GPS-denied UAV navigation algorithms.
