James Raymond serves as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Draper since October 2022, specializing as a Process Development and Manufacturing Engineer in the MEMS group. In this role, James leads critical process development for CMP (chemical mechanical planarization) and is the task lead for the first successful hybrid bonding capability. Previously, James held the position of Member of Technical Staff II at Draper, where responsibilities included coordinating the installation of CMP and wafer cleaner tools and managing their maintenance. Prior experience includes roles as an Equipment/Manufacturing Engineer at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, focusing on Reactive Ion Etch and diffusion furnaces, and a Product Development Engineering Intern at Revision Military, where improvements in production efficiency were made.
