John Leblanc has extensive experience in the field of optical engineering and microfabrication processes, with a career spanning several decades. Currently retired since August 2024, John previously served as a Group Leader in Microfabrication Processes and as a Principal Member of the Technical Staff at Draper from July 1995. John also held the position of Manager of Optical Testing at Confluent Photonics from March 2001 to September 2002, and worked as an Optical Engineer at Northrop Grumman from July 1985 to July 1995. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Tufts University.
