John Resa

John Resa is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Draper Laboratory, where they perform analyses on advanced electronic defense systems. They hold a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University Northwest, where they excelled in modeling and simulation. Previously, John served as the Lead Engineer at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, leading the LE2 Advanced Packaging project and establishing CFD capabilities. Their involvement as an Engineering Reviewer for Strategic Systems Programs allowed them to gain insights into technical documentation and programmatic aspects. John has also mentored aspiring engineers and contributed to pioneering research in steel casting during their academic tenure.
