Lorena Iannicelli is an accomplished FPGA Engineer with a solid background in both professional and research settings. Currently employed at Draper since January 2023, Lorena previously interned at Intel Corporation within the Device Development Group in the summer of 2022. Prior experience includes working as an FPGA Engineer at Emergent Trading, where a custom packet transfer system was developed for high-speed stock trading, resulting in a 200% speed increase. Additionally, as a Research Assistant at BYU Robotic Vision Lab, Lorena contributed to projects utilizing RaspberryPi, OpenCV, and Pixhawk for drone computer vision applications. Earlier in the career, Lorena served as an Instructor and Administrator at Mathnasium, teaching various mathematics topics to students. Lorena holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Brigham Young University, completed in December 2022.
