Luis E. Pedraza Colon

Luis E. Pedraza Colon is a seasoned aerospace professional currently serving as the Strategic Missions Program Manager at Draper since August 2019. In this role, Luis oversees a team of over 100 engineers to develop navigation software and control systems for critical national security hypersonic missile projects. Prior to this, Luis held positions as a Sensor Test Engineer, where responsibilities included integrating inertial sensors, and as an Aerospace Engineer at Parsons Corporation, evaluating missile hardware for the Department of Defense. Luis began military training as a Midshipman in the US Navy, where leadership and logistical expertise were developed while managing units and supporting naval operations. Luis holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, and is pursuing an MBA at The Wharton School.
