Michael LeFante is an accomplished Program Manager with extensive experience in aerospace and defense. Currently, at Draper since August 2023, Michael leads the execution of the CP-12 Task Order for NASA's Commercial Lunar Payload Services. Prior to this, Michael held a Program Manager position at BAE Systems from June 2018 to July 2023, where responsibilities included leading contract negotiations for a Radar Warning Receiver upgrade for the U.S. Air Force. Michael's earlier roles include overseeing a portfolio of R&D projects at NYSEARCH/NGA and a decade-long tenure at the U.S. Department of Defense, which encompassed various leadership roles involving the development of advanced weapon systems and technologies. Michael holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Business Administration from the Isenberg School of Management and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology, alongside a diverse educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Russian and East European Studies, and International Studies from Lafayette College.
