Michael Moebius

Michael Moebius is an accomplished technical expert with extensive experience in sensors and imaging systems as a Principal Member of the Technical Staff at Draper since October 2016. Prior to this role, Michael served as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Graduate Student in Applied Physics at Harvard University, focusing on femtosecond laser micromachining and integrated on-chip nonlinear optics from June 2009 to October 2016. Earlier experience includes research at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, where work involved characterizing molecules for single molecule electronics, and participation in the NNIN REU Program, where research centered on carbon nanotube applications. Michael began the academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Physics at Harvard University.
