Mitchell Hebert is an experienced robotics engineer and autonomy expert, currently serving as a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Draper since June 2016, with a history of progressive roles in robotics and autonomy engineering within the company. Prior experience includes working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Laboratory for Perceptual Robotics, contributing to diverse robotics research under the mentorship of Roderic Grupen. Mitchell has also engaged with NASA's Johnson Space Center on technology transfers for the Robonaut 2 platform and served as a Teaching Assistant for an introductory robotics course. Earlier positions include integrating production lines at NSK, as well as experience in computer systems analysis and management at Waubeeka Golf Links. Mitchell holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
