Nigel Lee

Nigel Lee is a seasoned expert in machine intelligence and signal processing with extensive experience in leading research teams and developing advanced algorithms. Currently serving as Principal Scientist and Group Leader at Draper, Nigel directs innovative projects focused on hypersonic vehicle detection and machine learning applications for mental state inference. Previous roles include Principal Scientist at STR, where improvements in sonar image classification and simulation techniques were achieved, and Chief Algorithmic Officer at Corista LLC, where significant advancements in medical image classification were implemented. With a strong academic background, including a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University, Nigel has contributed to numerous technical reports, patents, and presentations throughout a distinguished career in both military and commercial settings.
