Raef Mikhail is a highly experienced systems engineer with a robust career in various technical roles. Currently serving as a Resident Systems Engineer for Strategic Systems Programs at Draper since March 2019, Raef has held multiple positions including Principal Member of Technical Staff and Group Lead for Advanced Aiding Sensors Integration and Test. Previously, Raef worked at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems - Xinetics as a Principal Manufacturing Engineer and at Edmund Optics, where Raef began as an Optical Engineer and advanced to Product Line Manager. Raef’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Bachelor’s degree in Optics from the University of Rochester, and an Associate degree in Photonics. Raef's experience also includes an internship at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, contributing to the ORCA Satellite project.
