Robert Block is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the design and development of mixed-signal ASICs, digital systems, and innovative space applications. Currently serving as Group Leader for Silicon Architecture at Draper, Robert has established a cross-disciplinary team to enhance ASIC project practices and has successfully led technical proposal development across multiple business areas. Previous roles at Draper included Architecture Lead for Mixed-signal ASIC, Technical Project Lead, and digital design engineering for MEMS devices. With a background as Senior Member of Technical Staff at USS California and Submarine Officer during service in the U.S. Navy, Robert possesses a strong foundation in systems architecture and nuclear engineering, holding both SM and SB degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
