Ryan Gelly is a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Draper since October 2022, leading the design of photonic integrated circuit sensors and prototyping optical systems for environmental monitoring. Previously, Ryan served as a PhD Candidate and Graduate Research Assistant at Harvard University from June 2016 to October 2022, where leadership included guiding teams in creating innovative fiber-integrated light sources and initiating collaborations on integrated nanophotonic devices. Ryan's teaching experience includes roles as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard University and a Learning Assistant at Boston University, where exceptional contributions earned the title of Learning Assistant of the Year. Educational credentials include a PhD in Physics from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Boston University.
