Scott Grange is a distinguished Hardware ASIC Design Engineer currently working at Draper since April 2025. Previously, Scott held the position of Director of Digital Design and Verification for Battery Management Systems at PI Semiconductor from December 2022 to April 2025, where responsibilities included product definition, architecture, and technical leadership. Prior to that, Scott served as the Director of Engineering R&D for Embedded Solutions at ON Semiconductor, leading projects and designs for mixed signal custom ASICs and ASSPs from March 2021 to December 2022. Scott began a career in engineering at Hewlett-Packard as a Microprocessor Design Engineer, contributing to high-speed microprocessors for advanced servers and workstations from July 1996 until August 2004, after which Scott worked as a Senior Design Engineer and Project Lead at AMI Semiconductor until it was acquired by ON Semiconductor. An early career began with an internship in the ASIC Design Group at Evans & Sutherland in 1995. Scott holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
