Vijay Ramareddy is an optical engineering professional with extensive experience in biotechnology and optical sensors. They served as a Research and Teaching Assistant in the Physics Department at Oklahoma State University from 2003 to 2008, before working as an Atomic Physicist, Optics Engineer, and Staff Scientist at a Cambridge-based biotech from 2008 to 2019. Following this, they held the role of Senior Optical Engineer at KVH Industries, Inc. from 2019 to 2021. Currently, Vijay is the SMTS at Draper, having started in 2025. They have earned multiple degrees, including a PhD in Atomic Molecular and Optical Physics from Oklahoma State University.
