Dave Knell

Dave Knell has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Developer for iVillage. In 2004, they joined Tyco International as a System Engineer, and then moved on to Bayview Financial as a Unix Administrator III until 2008. From 2008 to 2016, Dave worked at Baptist Health South Florida in roles such as Systems Engineer III and Sr. Systems Engineer. In 2016, they joined Portfolium as a Senior Web Developer before being acquired by Instructure, where they continued in the role until 2019. At Instructure, Dave held positions as a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead, SRE. Currently, they are employed at Drata as the VP of Engineering, a title they have held since 2020. In 2022, Dave's role at Drata was elevated to VP of Software Engineering.
