Roy Luo

Roy Luo is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in payment solutions and identity management. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Drata since January 2024, Roy previously held the position of Director of Engineering at CITCON, where the focus was on developing an all-in-one payment gateway. Prior roles include Director of Engineering at Okta, Inc., leading Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) platforms and enterprise authentication teams, and Technical Director at Samsung Pay, responsible for core payment architecture. Roy's career also includes significant contributions at Centrify Corporation as Engineering Manager for mobile endpoints, as well as various engineering roles at MobileIron, where responsibilities ranged from backend and UI development to leading Android engineering efforts. Roy holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University, an Engineering Leadership Professional Program certificate from UC Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Central South University.
