Shane Tierney

Shane Tierney is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in governance, risk, and compliance. Currently serving as Senior Program Manager, GRC at Drata since June 2023, Shane plays a vital role in R&D and product innovation efforts. Previously, as Head of Data Privacy at SetSail from July 2021 to January 2023, Shane managed information security, data governance, and compliance operations. Additional roles include Privacy Manager at Keeper Security, Associate Director of Business & Legal Affairs at IPG Mediabrands, and Manager of Contract Administration at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, where Shane demonstrated expertise in managing complex agreements and compliance processes. Shane's career also includes experience at prominent organizations like Sony Music Entertainment and DreamWorks Animation. Shane earned a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies with a minor in English Honors from John Jay College (CUNY).
