Adam Boyce has a strong background in engineering and has worked in various roles over the years. Adam started their career as a Graduate Engineer at RWE in 2005 and worked there until 2007. Adam then moved to Eggborough Power Ltd where they served as a Performance Support Engineer from 2007 to 2013. After that, they joined Drax Group and held multiple positions including Engineer, Lead Engineer, Process Performance Section Head, and Plant Performance, Environment and Process Safety Team Manager. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Engineering at Drax Group.

Adam Boyce has a diverse and extensive education history. In 2001, they attended The University of Manchester, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering with business. Adam completed this program in 2004. Soon after, from 2008 to 2011, Adam enrolled at Kingston University, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Engineering.

To complement their formal education, Adam has also obtained additional certifications. In 2013, they earned a Chartered Engineer CEng MIMechE certification from IMechE Yorkshire Region. Adam then went on to obtain the Chartered Manager CMgr FCMI certification from the Chartered Management Institute in June 2023.
