Christopher Nurse is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in treasury and derivatives management. Currently serving as the Head of Treasury FX & Derivatives at Drax Group since February 2021, Christopher has held various roles within the organization, including Treasury Derivatives Manager and Treasury Operations Manager. Prior to Drax Group, Christopher worked at ARA Venn as Financial Controller and Finance Manager, and at Bupa as a Senior Treasury Accountant and Treasury Accountant. Starting a career at Deloitte UK as Assistant Manager, Christopher has built a solid foundation in finance and treasury roles since 2010. Academic qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Sport & Exercise Science from the University of Bath and certifications from the ICAEW and the Association of Corporate Treasurers. Current studies include a Diploma in Treasury Management from the Association of Corporate Treasurers, expected to be completed in 2024.
