David Strain has over 20 years of experience in the power generation industry, currently serving as a Production Supervisor at Drax Group since December 2018. Prior to this role, David held various positions at ScottishPower from June 2003 to December 2018, including Production Supervisor, E, C&I Engineer, Production Support Engineer, and CCR Controller (Production Team Leader), managing a shift production team of 11. David also has experience as a Unit Controller/C&I Technician, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of a 600Mw generating unit. Educational qualifications include an HNC in Electrical Engineering with Measurement & Control from Forth Valley College, completed between 1992 and 1995.
