David Wilks has extensive experience in energy trading, currently serving as Head of Prompt Trading and Energy Management Centre at Drax Group since May 2003, after a successful tenure as Senior Trader handling Power, Gas, EUAs, Renewables, Financial Coal, Financial Freight, and Oil. Prior to this, David was an EMC Trader at Yorkshire Electricity from July 1987 to June 2001, where responsibilities included leading shift trading for Gas and Electricity. In December 2024, David is set to complete the INSPIRE! Programme in Inspirational Leadership at Symmetry.inc, further enhancing leadership skills in the energy sector.
