David Wood

David Wood currently serves as the Commercial Contracts Business Lead at Drax Group since July 2023. Previously, David held the position of Commercial Manager at Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics from February 2014 to April 2019, where oversight of the Mechanical Division included accountability for project values up to £30 million in the Power and Petrochemical industries. David's experience also encompasses a role as Quantity Surveyor at JN Bentley Ltd, managing projects in the Sewerage Stream Sector, and a prior position as Quantity Surveyor at Altrad, focusing on commercial duties and stakeholder collaboration. Additionally, David completed officer training in the British Army, demonstrating leadership and decision-making under pressure. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantity Surveying from Northumbria University, obtained in 2014.
