Hunter Miles

Hunter Miles has a diverse work experience in various roles related to land management, forestry, and veterinary assistance. Hunter started their career in 2013 as a Veterinary Assistant at Thomasville Animal Hospital and worked there for two years. In 2016, they joined Progressive Management Practices as a Land Management Technician Assistant, where they gained skills in land management, farming, and use of agricultural equipment. In 2019, they worked as a Summer Intern at F4 Tech, where they received hands-on training in hurricane clean-up and forest cruising. From 2020 to 2021, they worked at Timber-Mart South as an Assistant, and in the same year, they also worked as a Summer Intern at Canfor, where they assisted the procurement team. From 2021 to 2023, they worked at WestRock Company as a Procurement Forester. Currently, they hold the position of a Procurement Forester Lead at Drax Group, starting in 2023.

Hunter Miles completed their Master's degree in Forest Business at The University of Georgia from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources with a focus on Forestry and Wildlife from the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, which they completed from 2015 to 2019. Hunter's education journey started at Thomasville High School - Scholars Academy, where they attended from 2011 to 2015.
