Ian King

Ian King is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, currently serving as the Head of M&A at Drax Group since March 2023. Prior to this, Ian held the position of Head of European M&A at GFG Alliance, where responsibilities included the origination, evaluation, and execution of European transactions. Earlier experience includes leading corporate transactions at Anglo American and serving as Director of Corporate Development at Glencore PLC, where Ian was involved in major corporate transactions. Ian's career began in investment banking with Deutsche Bank and includes a role as an Associate in Corporate Finance at Greenhill & Co. Ian's educational background features a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and History from Durham University.
