James Cresswell is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate restructuring, and commercial finance. Currently serving as Head of FP&A at Drax Group since May 2018, James leads the financial planning and analysis function for various business units. Previous roles within Drax Group include Senior Finance Manager and Commercial Finance Manager, focusing on management accounting and strategic planning. Prior to joining Drax, James worked at EY as an Assistant Director in Corporate Restructuring, and held managerial positions at BTG Financial Consulting and Royal Bank of Scotland, where involvement included supporting businesses in financial distress. James also gained experience during a secondee role at Barclays Bank. James holds a JIEB in Insolvency and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of York.
