Jim Davie

Jim Davie has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jim held the position of Lead E,C&I Engineer at Drax Group since 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Lead E,C&I Engineer at ScottishPower for over a decade. Jim also served as a Plant Electrical Engineer at Vallourec from 2006 to 2008. Before that, they were an Engineering Manager at Warburtons from 2004 to 2006. Jim held various roles at North British Distillery Company, Scottish Pride Dairies, Smurfit Kappa, Cameron, and British Steel from 1990 to 2004.

Jim Davie has a strong educational background in engineering. Jim earned a Postgraduate Certificate (PGc) in Applied Instrumentation and Control from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2010-2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from The Open University between 1996 and 2002. Jim also holds an HNC (Higher National Certificate) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bell College Of Technology, where they studied from 1987 to 1989. Jim'seducational journey began at Motherwell Technical College, where they completed an ONC (Ordinary National Certificate) in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from 1985 to 1987.
