Joshua Backhouse

Joshua Backhouse is an experienced professional specializing in biomass trading and strategy, currently serving as a Biomass Trading & Strategy Analyst at Drax Group since September 2018. Joshua has progressed through various roles at the company, including Junior Biomass Trader and Operational Procurement Administrator. Prior to this, Joshua gained experience in the hospitality and service industries at Hartrigg Oaks, Punch Bowl Pub, Allerton C of E Primary School, and Scalm Park Golf Course. Joshua holds a Master of Science in Environment & Development from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Bangor University.
