Michael Harris

Michael Harris has a diverse work experience in the field of instrumentation and control engineering. Michael is currently working at Drax Group as a Lead Control and Instrument Engineer since July 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at ExxonMobil from February 2017 to September 2021, where they supported the design, engineering, and maintenance of instruments. Before that, Michael worked at CB&I from September 2013 to January 2017, where their responsibilities included procurement and compliance for field instrumentation and control systems. Michael also gained experience at SABIC as an Instrument and Control Placement during their university studies, and at Sembcorp Energy UK as a Summer Instrumentation Placement.

Michael Harris obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from the University of Teesside, which they attended from 2009 to 2013. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's Degree in Systems and Control from City, University of London, where they studied from 2013 to 2015.
