Rob Shuter

Rob Shuter is an established adviser, investor, and non-executive director with a diverse background in telecommunications and finance. They are the founder and CEO of Smythe Sothern Limited, a boutique advisory services firm, and serve as a member of the Supervisory Board for Royal KPN N.V. Additionally, Shuter is a non-executive director at Drax Group Plc and Boldyn Networks, among others, contributing to renewable energy and shared communications infrastructure initiatives. They previously held executive roles, including CEO of MTN and Vodafone Europe, and were managing director at Nedbank Retail. Shuter began their career as a Chartered Accountant after earning degrees in commerce and finance from the University of Cape Town and the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
